New markets in sight

SEEDFORWARD and S U M I A G R O F R A N C E join forces to develop an innovative biostimulant seed treatment technology in the French market.

By combining their areas of expertise, Sumi Agro France and SeedForward GmbH aim to accelerate the development of biostimulants for seed treatment on the French market. SeedForward GmbH has selected Sumi Agro France for the commercial development of its SeedFX® technology – a seed treatment technology for a wide range of crops.

An innovative technology – an added value for the market
SeedFX® technology is an innovative combination of 20 active compounds, specifically selected for their effects on germination, root growth, and uniform crop establishment. Thanks to its wide variety of active compounds, this technology achieves significant effects under different conditions. The synergy of these effects improves crop establishment even in challenging sowing situations. The technology is available in several crop-specific formulations to fit the exact needs of different crops. It can also be used in organic farming.

“SEEDFORWARD has been working with SeedFX® technology for several years. They have been able to test the effectiveness of their solution in many situations. The improvement in germination capacity, homogenization of emergence and accelerated growth of root biomass allow the crop to get off to a good start and set it up for good yields. Sumi Agro France has been working with biostimulants for over 10 years and is familiar with market expectations. We know the customers’ needs and can rely on a team of experts and a developed network. With SeedForward we can drive our ambition to support farmers with technically and economically efficient biostimulants across different crops.”Aude Colette
Marketing Director of Sumi Agro France

A common ambition: offer an innovative biostimulant solution to support crops and farmers best

Sumi Agro France and SeedForward GmbH aim to develop the French market for the SeedFX® technology, with a focus on cereal, corn, legumes, forage and cover crops. The goal is to cover at least 20% of the biostimulant seed treatment market by 2028. A dedicated team of biostimulant experts is available to support all stakeholders in educating and driving a transition toward biostimulant use.

“Our two companies are convinced that this solution can improve the ability of the crop for good establishment and resilience throughout the season. We aim to unfold the full genetic potential of seeds. This innovation is a real asset for food security and the profitability of farms – we call it Next Level Seed Coatings.”Jacob P. Rohn, CEO & Co-Founder of SEEDFORWARD
